Opening statement

the mucous under their belly allows them to wriggle around smoothly. Eels are very vicious and can rip through your skin and squeeze like snakes can. They taste sweet and have a good amount of calcium. Eel blood is poisonous to humans and other mammals, but both cooking and the digestive process destroys the toxic protein.

Appearance

The eel is slimy as it slithers thru the dark golden sand.

It has sharp teeth to munch thru there prey.

It looks like the slithery snakes how it slithers, and moves.

Behavior

They are very vicious when humans are around their habitat. They are very protective over their elver and can kill the attacker.

Diet

Little eels like to eat crustaceans until they are an elver.

When they get to the elver stage they start to eat little fish.

As they become an adult they start to hunt ducklings and little water animals.

Habitat

The eels like to live in logs and evin under banks. It makes it easier to strike And so they can hied. And of cause they live in freshwater or saltwater.
Closing statement

Did you know that sometimes when you shine your light in the water you can’t see eels cause some eels have pitch black skin.
